This is an outline of the courses of study offered by Carolina Bible Institute & Seminary. Classes are currently held both online and at the school. Online student complete each course at their own pace.
Students attending the institute meet on Monday mornings or afternoons, and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. From time to time we offer specialized seminars on subjects that are useful for all Christian workers and ministerial students. At least two weeks of summer classes are scheduled each summer.

This program can be completed online or at the seminary. This diploma will be granted to those who successively complete the Home Bible Institute Study Program or the Thursday night Bible Chronology / Doctrine class plus the course of study offered in the Institute Program on Monday nights, along with other assigned requirements. Requirements for this diploma consist of a minimum of 48 semester hours.

This degree will be granted to those who successfully complete the assigned work, along with a minimum of 16 semester hours credit beyond those required for the Diploma In Bible and with a minimum of 64 total semester hours credit. This degree requires a research paper of a minimum of 2,500 words with a minimum 5 research sources
This degree will be granted to those who successfully complete the assigned work, along with a minimum of 32 semester hours credit beyond those required for the Associate of Ministry degree and with a minimum of 96 total semester hours credit. This degree requires a research paper of a minimum of 5,000 words with a minimum 10 research sources.
Bachelor of Ministry

Bachelor of Christian Education
This degree will be granted to those who successfully complete the assigned work, along with a minimum of 30 semester hours credit beyond those required for the Graduate of Theology degree and with a minimum of 126 total semester hours credit. This degree requires a research paper of a minimum of 10,000 words with a minimum 15 research sources.
Master of Ministry

Master of Christian Education
This degree will be granted to those who successfully complete the assigned work, along with a minimum of 60 semester hours credit beyond those required for the Bachelor of Ministry degree and with a minimum of 186 total semester hours credit. This degree requires a research paper of a minimum of 15,000 words with a minimum 20 research sources.
We are excited to announce the addition of a doctoral program to CBIS's curriculum. This will be a ministry focused degree program, which is currently being developed.
